Last week our first grade friends culminated their learning about ancient civilizations with a fun day of rotations. Students made maize art, designed Mayan masks, created a Mayan calendar, built chinampas, cooked corn tortillas, and played an ancient civilization game! Learning is fun in 1st grade.
