Our first grade friends have been creating dioramas of different animals in their habitats! Each class picked a habitat that they learned about in their unit of study and then did research on animals that live in that habitat. Their creativity is AWESOME! Check out our Facebook page for many more photos. #thewoodlawnway #itssweettobeaneagle

Woodlawn families and community...you guys showed up BIG TIME for this year's Walk-a-Palooza! We had a goal of $25,000 and you exceeded it by over $10,000. We had a wonderful walk-a-thon today and will have the incentives throughout the next few weeks. If you didn't get a chance to turn in your envelopes, you can still drop them off in the front office! It truly is SWEET to be an Eagle when we have amazing support like this! #TheWoodlawnWay

A young boy with short dark hair and a bright smile is sitting on a colorful mat outdoors. He is wearing a blue shirt with the word "Woodlawn" and a Special Olympics logo. He reaches toward a textured purple ball while looking to the side. Other people in matching shirts and event supplies are visible in the background under a clear blue sky.
We flipped the script on the master of costumes by surprising Mr. Wright with the first annual, Mr. Wright Day! Our staff wanted to show him how much we appreciate ALL the things he does and his willingness to wear ALL the costumes in order to make learning fun for our students! We LOVE you, Mr. Wright! Lots of pictures on our Facebook page.
